Your story of Izzie is very touching, I'm so sorry for your lose. We lost Jenny after 17 years, she was so much apart of our life. After almost a year I decided it was time to find a new cat to share our love. That's when I dresced Lula, she has spent the first 3 years of her life in a shelter (after being returned 3 times) I love her and she has really come out of her shell and loves us back.

Just read you blog and wanted to let you know how very sorry I am about the loss of your dear little kitty. Wonderful pictures of him - so cute! My family and I have had many many beloved pets we have lost over the years, so I know the pain you are feeling now. We always add a sweet new "member" to the family - so many animals need someone to love and care for them. And we'll always have our wonderful memories of all the beloved pets we have had & know that God brings these loving pets to heaven where we will be with them again. God bless.

I'm sorry to hear about Izzie. He sounds like he was a great quilting partner. My heart goes out to you. I lost my first kitty two years ago. It was a difficult loss, but a new kitty found her way into our family and our hearts about six months. She's a young kitty, so hasn't gotten into quilting yet, but I'm sure she will soon!!

So sorry for loss of your cute little kitty. Some people don't understand the attachment we have with our pets, but I do and my husband does. We have had to put down 3 of our precious boston terrier dogs since we've been married and it's very sad but we fill our lives back up again with a new puppy and that makes us happier for it. Sounds like your Izzie loved you as much as you loved him.
